I am a Tarot Consultant and an Intuitive Reader.
By no means will I ever claim to be a psychic or a telepath. If you lose your keys, I don’t know where they are. My advice would be to check between your couch cushions, but other than that, you’re on your own.
This is a safe space!
All readings (as well as client names) are strictly personal and confidential. Absolutely NOTHING will be shared from your private consultation. These readings are made for you and you alone. What you choose to share with me during a reading is all up to you. Some folks love to chat and others like to play it cool. There’s no pressure to share your unique experience but if you would like to, I am here to listen, offer advice (solicited only), support and guidance without a shred of judgment as your tarot consultant. You’re safe to enact your free will here.
It’s a two-way street.
As an experienced and intuitive reader, I am able to interpret the cards that come up in a reading in a general manner by identifying the meaning of the symbols and imagery of each card. In order to obtain specific information and direct messages that apply to you, I will ask you questions. This allows a deeper and more accurate interpretation specific to you and your situation. Like I mentioned above, you don’t have to utter a peep if you don’t want to. The more you give, the more you receive; please keep this in mind.
Tarot Cards Are Not Evil.
Nor are they dangerous. They are literally just a deck of playing cards and are used as a tool to access information stored in our subconscious. The symbols and imagery on each card invoke thought, feeling and action in order to paint a picture of the human experience. The cards are used for the sole purpose of self-development and spiritual growth. There are NO negative cards in the tarot, despite the grim imagery on a few (Death, The Tower, Ten of Swords etc…), there is always a positive message and life lesson to be learned after going through a difficult change or transition in one’s life.
The Death Card does NOT mean physical death.
Simple as that. The death card talks about change. The ending of a negative situation, a transformation and the start of something new. It represents the need to break patterns of destructive behaviour in order to begin a new cycle in life. That’s all, folks. Please don’t freak out about it. Fluffy the cat is probably just fine, snuggling up safely at home. That's all there is to this tarot card meaning.
The Future is Unknowable.
Yes, tarot cards are used to take a snap-shot of the energies currently surrounding ourselves, our situation and a sneak-peak at the probable outcome in the future as long as the client continues on course. This is where the fun really happens and where we have an incredible opportunity to exercise our free will. If there is something that comes up in a reading that causes you to change your thoughts, feelings and actions on your life’s journey, than the outcome will change completely! No two readings will ever be the same as we are constantly making choices that alter the direction we choose to take on our journey.
It’s your choice, not mine.
This reading is meant for you, not me. I will gladly offer new insights, perspectives and possible solutions to help guide you along, but in the end, the choice is always yours. I will not interfere with your Free Will. That’s the beautiful gift each human on this planet possesses. You carry the sole responsibility when it comes to your thoughts, feelings and actions you take away after receiving any consultation with myself or another reader doing business under the name, Turning Tides Tarot.

Call It Like I See It.
I will be completely honest with the energies surrounding each client, even when things look challenging or a bit difficult. I will explain each card’s meaning to the best of my ability (as Tarot is a never-ending study) and will translate the messages, lessons and experiences as they appear in your reading. We will discuss new and different ways to look at a situation and overcome any challenging energies that might be in play. I won’t fluff-up a reading just to make you happy, but I will do my absolute best to find the silver lining on a storm cloud. With strength, an open mind and a willingness to hold a positive thought-space, we can overcome troublesome times in life.
